When was the last time you really listened?

Think about that.

If you're going to say the words "talk to me, please!", then aren't you pretty much obligated to actually listen to what comes next?

It shouldn't have to be explained...

Today is so many things.

Today is a new beginning, if I need one.

Today is the accumulation of all of my yesterdays, whether I want it or not.

Today is all I have.

So today, here, now, is it.

Laughter may not be the best medicine, but it tastes a helluva lot better than cough syrup.

The only reason any two people fight, ninety percent of the time, is because each wants the other to change their mind.

Now think about how many times you've actually accomplished changing someone's mind - truly changing their mind, not simply acquiring acquiescence - and you may start to see arguing in a different light.

Oh, and the other ten percent?  That's just because you've hurt them and they want to hurt you back until you apologize. Figure it out, for cryin' out loud.
